My poster communicates a warning that what you say on social media could be hurtful to yourself or others. I have used a soft colour palette, not only to reference twitter, but also to convey the message of being nice to others. The pop of strong colour on the text makes the poster not so dull and compliments the blues that I have used. The style that I have used references an online environment because of the vector shapes, while keeping the poster soft and nice. I have used the text to create movement and draw the viewers eye from the bird down to the shoulder. I have used the rhetoric technique of pastiche in turning people's tweets into a result of a real life twitter bird. My work is impactful with a soft style, to get the reaction of people stopping to think about what they say online.
